Continental Mills recalls pancake and waffle mixes
On March 21, 2022, Continental Mills recalled a pancake and waffle mix due to possible foreign object contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.
The California Department of Education’s Nutrition Services Division strongly recommends that food program operators take precautions to ensure that these products are not served or consumed and are instead discarded or returned instead of discarded. purchased in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Continental Mills has issued a recall for a single lot of Great Value Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix, UPC 078742370828, lot code KX2063, expiration date 09/01/2023, due to potential foreign material contamination . Fragments of a cable used to clear the process line were found in a limited amount of product.
The affected product was distributed nationwide where consumers purchased the product from Walmart retail stores.
No contaminated product has been reported by consumers to date. No injuries have been reported to date.
