Costco offers a cheaper version of Starbucks egg bites

We love Costco because they always have quality products at a price we can appreciate! Foodbeast reports that the chain now offers egg bites comparable to the vacuum-packed egg bites at Starbucks – at a much cheaper price!

Three Bridges Egg Cheese and Undried Bacon Bites are gluten-free, low in sugar and high in protein. The bites come in packs of two, and after zapping them for 60 seconds in the microwave, they’re ready to eat!

According to Foodbeast, two egg bites at Starbucks cost $ 4.45, while an 8-bite Three Bridges pack from Costco costs around $ 9.79. How similar are they really, though?

Apparently quite similar. They have the same “fluffy lightness”, Foodbeast notes, but the Three Bridges bites have a stronger cheese flavor (which could be due to the use of different cheeses – Three Bridges uses cheddar instead of Gruyere).

The great thing about having egg bites at home is that you can be more creative with the way you eat them! The Three Bridges website has a few recommendations: “Hot sauce or ketchup, avocado and toast, orange juice or coffee.” The site includes some photos for inspiration.

The egg bites + avocado toast look so good, don’t they ?! Now for the somewhat overwhelming news. Egg Bites are available for limited distribution at Costco stores in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and Revo, Nevada, per Foodbeast. As the year progresses, Valley Fine Foods (the company behind Three Bridges) hopes to bring the bites to more Costco stores and make them available on the West Coast by the end of the year.

The Northeast, Southwest, and Midwest need egg bites too! Fingers crossed, breakfast on the go is delicious (sorry) and we get them at Costco nationwide!
