Halloween Ham and Cheese Mummy Bites with Witch Infusion



CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – Why not surprise your family or friends with some festive Halloween recipes! Stefanie Paganini from Loretta Paganini Cooking School shows Fox 8’s Kristi Capel how to make ham and cheese mummy bites and a witches brew. The staff of ICASI (LPSOC Professional Culinary Program) offer a “Trick-Or-Treat Fun” evening for the whole family. Mummy bites with ham and cheese

2 sheets of puff pastry

1 lb of ham of your choice, sliced

1 lb Swiss cheese, sliced

Egg gilding (1 egg and 2 tablespoons of water)

Preheat the oven to 400 ° F.

Cut the dough into 1-inch strips. Cut the ham and cheese into strips.

Stack two slices of ham and two slices of cheese. Wrap the puff pastry around the ham and cheese.

Place each puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush with egg wash. Place the baking sheet in the oven and let the dough turn a golden color. Remove and serve hot.

Witch punch

16 oz package of frozen berries, thaw
6 oz of frozen pineapple or tropical juice concentrate, thaw
6 oz. Apple juice
1 ½ cup of water
33 oz bottle of ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled

In a blender, combine the strawberries, juices and water. Coldness. When ready to serve the punch, mix the chilled juice mixture with the chilled soda.
