This iconic bakery and grocery store has been offering the best in authentic boiled bagels since 1985. You’ll be spoiled for choice with Kosher Providore’s wide array of delicious breads, but we recommend trying the chocolate or blueberry bagels. You can find their delicious fresh bread offerings at their bakery in Menora, or at some of Perth’s best cafes, independent grocery stores and IGAs.
The Holy Bagel Company
These bagels are as sacred as their name. In addition to baking mouth-watering bagels, the Holy Bagel Company also make their own line of delicious cream cheeses perfect for spreading, including bacon and maple, jalapeno, blueberries and sun-dried tomatoes. We can’t stop thinking about the all-classic bagel smothered in spring onion cream cheese. Order them ahead of time or head to their bakery in Canning Vale for your fix.
North of Perth
Satchmo is the New Orleans-style restaurant of our dreams. Alongside its ubiquitous rueben sandwich, Satchmo’s signature bagels are filled with fresh local produce. Impossible to miss the Satchmo, stuffed with corned beef, roasted tomato, gruyère, pickles and ranch. If you’re looking for a guilt-free option, try the Holy Garden with roasted pumpkin, kale, fried halloumi and hummus.
Get your fix
This humble bike shop and cafe combined on William Street serves up great bagels. Made fresh every morning, you’ll want to check out their weekly special and grab a quick one with a coffee from Twin Peaks Coffee Roasters beans.
Mr Sandwich needs no introduction further than their slogan: bomb sangas. Alongside their fresh, crusty bread compatriots are some of the best mushy bagels around. These bagels are packed with so much goodness, you need two hands to eat them. With two CBD outposts on Hay Street and St George’s Terrace, Mr Sandwich draws hungry lunchtime crowds, so be prepared to fight for the bagel of your choice.
The only thing better than by Kafka The Instagram feed is their delicious bagel deals. Stop by this aesthetically pleasing hole in the wall on your lunch break (it’s not open on weekends) for their bagel and coffee offering. You’ll find us munching on their perfectly grilled salmon and cream cheese creation.
The Grumpy Sailor
If you’re looking for hearty bagels, look no further than The Grumpy Sailor to Freo. Serving bagels every day of the week to the hungry masses, their $10 coffee and bagel special is not to be missed.
Buckle up, because these bagels are worth the trip. Bagel Country in Bunbury was born out of the pandemic when their traveling food truck dreams were dashed. Considering he left us with some of the best bagels in the southwest, we reckon it worked out for the best. Sourcing the freshest ingredients from local farmers and growers to create guilt-free, flavorful bagels, Bagel Nation is a staple.
Hidden specialty coffee
The secret is out, Hidden specialty coffee serves amazing bagels alongside their delicious roasts. Tucked away behind Foothills Cycles, Hidden is a local favorite and for good reason. If you can’t decide, we recommend the sesame bagel loaded with mashed avocado, prosciutto, chicken, arugula, pesto mayonnaise and melted cheese.
Getting their bagels from The Holy Bagel Co, Hylin adds eggs, bacon and the most delicious sauce to bring us their famous brekky bagel. Their New Yorker Rueben bagel is also ridiculous and should be added to your bagel list.

The Engine Room Espresso team also get their bagels from The Holy Bagel Co and then do all kinds of wonderful things with them. Our favorite is the Toasted Brisket Bagel which is full of melted cheese goodness.
