Pizza Factory to open express unit in Orange County
Pizza Factory is expanding its presence in its home state of California thanks to pizza industry veteran Tim Nguyen.
As a West Coast legend with over 100 establishments, Nguyen joins the brand with a desire to boost Pizza Factory’s hometown vibe and innovative operations by opening an Express Restaurant in the heart of Orange County. The Pizza Factory Express fast-serving model will bring delivery and take-out ordering options to the Orange County community. The new restaurant is expected to open before the end of 2021 with Pizza Factory’s fresh pizzas, never frozen, prepared by hand and varied menus.
âI’ve always had a love for the pizza space and knew I wanted to open my own pizzeria someday,â says Nguyen. âWhen looking for a brand to own, Pizza Factory stood out because of its freshly prepared products, community ties and attractive building options. I immediately saw the growth potential of the brand and the opportunity for owners to become multi-unit operators, which really excites me. The Pizza Factory management team was another indicator that I had made the right choice with the property given their strong focus on supporting franchisees. I am very knowledgeable about delivery and delivery operations and see a ton of opportunities with Pizza Factory’s Express model. I have no doubts he will do well in the Orange County market.
Nguyen has a long history in Orange County as a seasoned pizza professional. With over 25 years of management experience at various Domino’s restaurants, Nguyen will bring an understanding of operations, for Express models in particular, and a focus on excellent customer service to his Pizza Factory location.
âAs a ‘pizza-taker’ myself, it’s really exciting to see an operator like Tim who has worked for many pizza chains join our Pizza Factory family,â said Mary Jane Riva, CEO of Pizza Factory. . âHis ability to run a pizzeria in a transparent manner is evident and his focus on community engagement and customer satisfaction undoubtedly aligns with our brand values. The Express model is a perfect fit for Tim and I see the restaurant performing very well in Orange County as high quality, quick service food meets the needs of the market. I can’t wait to see Tim make his debut as an owner with our brand and expand our reach into the Southern California market.
