Best Bites Pittsburgh is back and you won’t want to miss the opportunity to show your taste buds! This event includes tastings at a variety of restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. Each featured restaurant will deliver their best bite with personalized cocktail stations along the way. This is your chance to fall in love with all that the city has to offer. For those traveling for the event and those of you looking for a city break, Hotel Industrialist will be offering a special hotel rate for attendees.

Great Tasting Ticket
For just $ 60, this ticket includes all Best Bites food and drink tastings at 15 food and drink stops throughout the tour. Only 300 tickets will be sold so don’t miss out, they will sell out fast!
- Enjoy a day of tastings at 15 restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh.
- In addition to enjoying bites along the way, guests receive samples of specialty drinks at donated cocktail points placed along the tour as well as a full drink at any of the stops!
- Purchase your tickets by October 12 to receive the ticket package in the mail. Packages include an official ticket lanyard to wear on the tour, restaurant map, starting point assignments, and tasting instructions.
- Guests will be assigned different small group restaurant departure points like a golf course to create social distancing throughout the tour (we recommend purchasing tickets together for those of you who wish to travel together, if that is not possible, just add something to the special requests section when purchasing).
- Tour restaurants will be marked with signage and balloons. Guests present their cords to receive a tasting at each stop.
- After a day of tasting, guests vote for the best bite and the best tasting experience. Awards will be given to the winners.
Alihan’s Mediterranean cuisine
ALihan’s Mediterranean Cuisine is a family owned restaurant serving the best Turkish cuisine in downtown Pittsburgh. They organized homemade meals from handpicked ingredients, promising that the quality of the meal was free from processed elements or preservatives. The menu is an array of Turkish dishes as well as Greek, Italian and Middle Eastern influences. Alihan’s offers you the opportunity to discover traditional cuisines without having to travel.
Allegheny HYP Club
The Allegheny HYP Club has been around since 1930, it is now the cumulative amalgamation of three leading clubs that have helped shape Pittsburgh: the Harvard Yale Princeton Club, the Pittsburgh Club and the Allegheny Club. The historic place is filled with elegant furniture and works of art. Their menu includes an assortment of favorites and unique staples.
Emporio: a joint of meatballs
Emporio Meatball is a well-known place in downtown Pittsburgh. They offer a variety of 4 meatball bases to choose from, one being a vegetarian option! The next step in your dining experience with Emporio is to choose one of their 10 sauces. Finally, sail if you want your meal to be traditional style over pasta or for a change of scene and add it on a bun or bed of fries! Not only do they do an amazing job in their kitchen, but Emporio is well known for their charitable fundraising to help serve their community.
Fogo de Chao
Fogo de Chao is best known for his Small Brazilian-inspired platters and award-winning wines and cocktails. The founders of Fogo de Chão made their debut in their hometown, Serra Gaucha. It was there that they learned to cook in the tradition of grilled churrasco. They worked hard to perfect their craft and started opening restaurants. They took their first steps in the United States, in Dallas and, to our delight, they spread out right here in downtown Pittsburgh!
Harris Grill is known for its unique and trendy atmosphere. This is the perfect place to have a drink and good quality food. Their menu has something for everyone, inclusive and adaptable to all dietary requirements. As for the drinks menu, they promise that “there is something fresh, fruity, sparkling or funky in a frosted glass awaits you.
The milkshake factory
The Milkshake Factory is the source of trust for every yinzer when they crave something sweet. Whether it’s a hand-spun shake, an artisanal sundae, or a gourmet piece of chocolate, they’ve got you covered. The family have been in the confectionery business since 1914 and know a thing or two. They pass on traditions that make all of our lives a little sweeter.
Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream
Millie’s is another Pittsburgh candy staple! Whether it’s running to your local grocery store for a pint, picking up Millie’s truck, or stopping off at one of their stores, you always feel the positive effects of Millie’s #spreadlove mission in the world. community. Pizza Maker Primo
Pizzaiolo Primo is known for its authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The location in the market square offers a stunning European ambience with traditional Tuscan themes. They recently launched a new cocktail program, seasonal specials and private tasting dinners. If you can’t come for dinner, be sure to stop by during their lunch hours throughout the week!
The rebel room at The Industrialist
The rebel room was said to be influenced by the movers and shakers of Pittsburgh. The set-up includes a well-lit room packed around the bar. They serve tasty American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a must-see mixology program.

Sly Fox Taphouse at the forefront

The Speckled Egg is a must-see spot in downtown Pittsburgh. Their brunch menu is full of everything under the sun and a matching drink menu! Their Happy Hour is a fan favorite, every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It includes half-price cocktails and saps, $ 2 beers, and select wines at $ 6.
