The 66th annual Kiwanis Pancake Festival is scheduled for this weekend

Kiwanis University’s famous Pancake Festival will be back in full force this weekend at the JS Bridwell Ag Center, 111 N Burnett St.

The band had to postpone the event, which was normally held on the last Saturday in January, due to high COVID numbers at the time.

Kiwanians are excited to bring the event back to its usual form.

Every year (pre-COVID) they served pancakes, sausages and toppings to over 10,000 people at the annual one-day event.

Funds are used to support year-round Kiwanis activities that help the community. Some of their events and projects include a citywide Easter egg hunt, support for key clubs at all three high schools, the Terrific Kids/BUG (Bring Up Grades) program at City View Elementary School, scholarships for Schools and Children’s Playground at Kiwanis University Park.
