The NEW Bottomless Brunch Bagels, Croissants & Cocktails in the North Quarter
Lost Cat is the newest player in the Northern Quarter bottomless brunch game!
Lost cat opened in May, nicely tucked away in the former Eat New York site on Oldham Street – the bar and restaurant concept spans two floors with an emphasis on âSerious beers and silly cocktailsâ.
They have certainly had a big impact since then, creating a Laid-back neighborhood chill out space with a laid-back daytime vibe, which seamlessly transforms into a notoriously mischievous party spot at night. Add a splash of live music and you are good to go.
More recently the bar has launched its own BOTTOMLESS BOOZY BRUNCH, which is available EVERY DAY until 4 p.m. £ 25 will get you 90 minutes per person and loads of tasty treats including; breakfast bagels, crushed avo and salmon lux.
When you walk into the restaurant on an empty stomach and ready to swallow as much food and alcohol as possible, you can sit down and (if you choose the alcoholic option) the team will drop in some hash browns or pancakes and orange juice to start things off.
Then, for the next 90 minutes, you’ll enjoy BOTTOM FOOD AND DRINKS to keep you going, and you’ll have a long list of cocktails and breakfast options to choose from.
Starting with food, you can get yourself a Bagel breakfast with sausage patty, smoked bacon, folded egg with brown sauce or homemade ketchup on a toasted buttered bagel.
There’s also a bagel option for non-meat eaters, filled with a vegan sausage patty, scrambled tofu, and a hash brown with gravy or homemade ketchup on a toasted bagel.
Then there is the Lard Lux, which includes smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and sriracha mayonnaise, all beautifully seated on a freshly baked mini croissant. the Salmon lux comes with smoked salmon, lemon crème fraîche, scrambled eggs, crispy dill and capers.
Finally, what Northern Quarter brunch menu would be complete without a classic Crushed avocado number? The Lost Cat Mashed Avocado comes with scrambled tofu, salsa, mozzarella, vegan pieces of bacon, all served on a hot tortilla.
The drinks menu consists of either a Mimosa, a pint of Homemade lager (Pilsner), a “Yuppue stockbroker” filled with vanilla vodka, passion, lemon and sparkling sorbet, as well as a ‘Italian thug ‘ cocktail composed of gin, watermelon syrup, Campari, vermouth and soda.
there is also the classic Bloody mary, a ‘Tito Flores drink made from fizz and gin with flavors of cucumber, elderflower and citrus, and, finally, a Garibaldi – Campari and JO.
Lost Cat’s brunch feels like an instant hangover cure, full of classic, carefully prepared fare – and where else in the NQ can you get bottomless brunch any day of the week? For just £ 25 too!
Lost Cat’s Bottomless Brunch is walk-in ONLY – so get there as soon as you can to enjoyâ¦
